Hi,

I'm running into a problem where when I acknowledge an issue in the
classic web interface, with the Send Notification box checked, no
notification is sent. However if I un-check the Send Notification box,
an alert does get sent.

This is Icinga 1.8.1 with IDOUtils installed. Debian 6 for the OS. I had
this working previously with Icinga 1.7.0, however upon upgrading to
1.8.0 (and subsequently 1.8.1) I've had this problem. In an attempt to
determine whether it was a bad upgrade on my part, I've wiped my
previous install, and done a fresh 1.8.1 install (with my host configs
imported in). The same problem occurs.

Not sure if it's related or not, but I do also have a problem with
services I have escalations set on, that an escalation notification is
sent on a change to an OK state (from a CRITICAL or WARNING), even if
the escalation threshold has not been met.

Not sure what configs or logs might be helpful here, but am willing to
provide what I can.

Appreciate your ideas.

Ross.
