Is there a good way of monitoring services of hosts in private subnet?
I read http://docs.icinga.org/latest/en/distributed.html but had a feeling
that passive checks are not quite reliable...
What do you guys generally use for monitoring hundereds of hosts in
different parts of the country or the world?
