Hi, in my /var/log/icinga/icinga.log I find lots of
Warning: Error grabbing macro 'SERVICEDESC' value ''! Maybe used in the wrong scope? Check the docs. Warning: Skipping unknown macro '$SERVICEDESC$', removing it from output! Fix your config, or set keep_unknown_macros accordingly... Warning: Error grabbing macro 'SERVICESTATEID' value ''! Maybe used in the wrong scope? Check the docs. Warning: Skipping unknown macro '$SERVICESTATEID$', removing it from output! Fix your config, or set keep_unknown_macros accordingly... Warning: Error grabbing macro 'SERVICEOUTPUT' value ''! Maybe used in the wrong scope? Check the docs. Warning: Skipping unknown macro '$SERVICEOUTPUT$', removing it from output! Fix your config, or set keep_unknown_macros accordingly... In the meantime, I set keep_unknown_macros=1, so the errors don't show up, but what can cause this? A "notify-service-by-email" command when a "notify-host-by-email" is expected? How can I debug this? The system is running on a SLES 11 SP2 with those packages: icinga-1.9.2-74.1 icinga-doc-1.9.2-74.1 icinga-idoutils-1.9.2-74.1 icinga-idoutils-mysql-1.9.2-74.1 icinga-plugins-downtimes-1.9.2-74.1 icinga-plugins-eventhandlers-1.9.2-74.1 icinga-web-1.9.0-2.3 icinga-web-BPAddon-1.9.0-2.3 icinga-web-pnp_integration-1.9.0-2.3 icinga-www-1.9.2-74.1 Regards, Werner -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ icinga-users mailing list icinga-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/icinga-users
