Dear Icinga community, it's been a long time since the last news updates on Icinga 2. It's also been a long and huge milestone with many many features to be implemented after the first 0.0.1 release in last october.
The reason why this kept floating so long in git were many optimizations in details, but as well the major topic of this milestone - reaching compatibility with Icinga Core 1.x.
