you may get answers within hours (at least i've been told that by
various community members). but that depends on the topic and the tone.
as well as on everyone's time schedule within their different timezones
all around the globe. and if there isn't an answer in time, just wait or
try different channels. or better - re-read your question and ask
yourself which details might be missing for a good answer on that.

on special topics - such as ldap - the ones doing support for their
customers will likely share their knowledge in professional support
contracts. but never say never, if you're missing some information,
provide a documentation patch at https://dev.icinga.org or write your
very own howto on https://wiki.icinga.org - icinga can only get better
with community help.

imho the documentation on icinga web - the configuration parts on the
authentication - is very detailed, and may allow you to define a
different auth provider, as well as every good apache documentation will
tell you how to configure it with ldap auth too.

providing details on the planned ldap auth (groups, tls, availability)
would likely attract even more people to answer, instead of trying to
guess which options may fit your environment. do your homework first,
community might like it.

kind regards,
michael
