I would personally use CentOS but it really depends on your environment and
personal tastes. I tend to not recommend Ubuntu, including the LTS versions,
for enterprise class production installs. It is a very capable OS but my
personal thoughts are it is more of a desktop OS, it is too user friendly for
my taste. If you want Ubuntu server just go with Debian. This is just my
opinion, others may feel Ubuntu is a better choice.

Subject: [icinga-users] Best OS platform
Hello, I'd appreciate any and all input on which OS platform would be better
to install Icinga. Specifically I'd like to install Icinga-web and PNP4nagios.
My OS options at this time are Ubuntu and CentOS. Are there pro / cons foe
either?
Thanks in advance for your help!
