Hi Team
we are getting following error icinga console while configure
check_logfiles..UNKNOWN - (1 unknown) - could not find logfile
/var/log/apache2/access.log
define command{
command_name check_logfiles
command_line /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_logfiles --tag=ssh
--logfile=/var/log/apache2/access.log --criticalpattern="107.21.36.170"
-noprotocol
please have look on this issue ...

check your filesystem (permissions/usage/integrity) and disk devices
step1: Define the service on localhost.cfg file .
define services{
use local-service
host_name Evericinga
service_description apachelogfiles
check_command check_logfiles!/var/log/ apache2/error.log!warning!
error!
}
Here i have a doubt on last line is it right to mention total path of apache
logfile( /var/log/apache2/error.log) or we use only /var/log/apache2
,please have a look once here.
step2:write command on commands.cfg file
define command{
command_name check_logfiles
command_line $USER$/check_logfiles --logfile=$ARG1$
--warningpattern='$ARG2$' --criticalpattern='$ARG3$'
}
Please have a look and update us.
