Hi
we are trying to configure check_logfiles for monitoring local system
apache logs , but its shows could not find logfiles
/var/log/apache2/access.log.
This is steps we are follow for configure check_logfiles.
In commands.cfg
define command{ command_name check_logfiles command_line
/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_logfiles --tag=ssh
--logfile="/var/log/apache2/access.log" --rotation=linux
--criticalpattern="File does not exist" -noprotocal }
In localhosts.cfg
define service{ use local-service host_name Evericinga service_description
apachelogfiles check_command check_logfiles }
