This would be highly unlikely as it would break a lot of compatibility with scripts already written to do post-processing of logs. I tangled with this personally, and lost, a year or so ago when I proposed changing the file-name style to conform to ISO datestamps instead of US-style stamps. We cannot know how many post-processing scripts are in use, and therein lies the problem. We don't want to break somebody else's process(es) to fix our own local pain.
