Hebat mas hendro, mas gimana ditambah fitur integrated automation system for library seperti sirkulasi, order, atau mungkin ditambah dengan fitur lain jadi sebuah portal library yang berbasis CMS. Saya setuju dengan fitur penelusuran seperti google masalahnya user terbiasa mengetik kata kunci semaunya atau lebih dikenal subyek verbal, fitur boolean masih bisa difungsikan. Tampilan penelusuran winisis sendiri, kurang dimengerti terutama bagi pengguna GALIB [gagap library alias jarang keperpus biar ngaku mahasiswa or peneliti], mereka biasanya lebih kenal tampilan google, tapi jika ada guided search itu juga OK. isis user ahmad Hendro Wicaksono <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

Yup, masalah yg disebutkan diatas karena salah satu technik pengindeksan di ISIS yang menggunakan karakter "<" dan ">". Biasanya suka ada masalah ketika browser mem-parsing dokumen HTML output dan wwwwisis. Kalau di igloo, udah buit-in parser untuk menghilangkan karakter dari ISIS yg tidak compliant dengan HTML. Kalau masih kurang igloo juga menyediakan mekanisme character control list untuk menghilangkan karakter2 aneh di ISIS. Btw, diskusi soal igloo dan genisis, kalau saya lihat, saat ini kekurangan igloo dari GENISIS adalah tidak adanya advanced search form. Ini sesuatu yg tidak terpikir oleh saya karena memang saya jarang banget pakai isis sehingga saya tidak tau semua fitur searching di ISIS. Yang sering saya kotak-katik datanya ISIS, bukan aplikasinya. Lagipula menurut saya, orang lebih terbiasa dengan form penelusuran satu baris seperti google. Tapi it's oke, rilis igloo berikutnya udah ditambahin kemampuan advanced search form.
