  JOB TITLE:  Information Assistant/Librarian
  GRADE: TBA
  DIVISION: Communications & Knowledge Management 
    REPORT TO: Communications Manager
  DIRECT REPORTS: -
  DURATION of ASSIGNMENT:  6 Months
   

  
   
  JOB PURPOSE: 
  Responsible in ensuring of collection, accessibility, and dissemination of 
the Partnership’s records of both project and non-project related documents and 
information on governance reform in Indonesia.
   
  PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
  1.      Develop cataloguing, classification and filing system of 
Partnership’s documents – including and not limited to visual and audio 
materials, publication, presentations, reports, and information – related to 
the Partnership’s activities, grantees, and other collaborating partners.
  2.      To develop and maintain the Partnership’ library system, to ensure 
easy storage and retrieval of the library materials – including the development 
and maintenance of on-line library. 
  3.      To organize shelves within the library in accordance with the 
established filing system. 
  4.      To maintain system of classification for information on projects 
supported by Partnership.
  5.      To provide information on the Partnership’s activities to the public 
through all communication channels including inbound telephone queries and 
email messages. 
  6.      Maintain records of library services, new acquisitions, circulation 
of materials and loans.
   
  WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
  Internal – Communications and Knowledge Management unit members and Program 
Management team members including Advisors and Monitoring unit; to coordinate 
and gather the most update and precise information on the Partnership’s 
activities and governance reform. 
   
  External – Community at large: to build good image of the Partnership by 
providing most accurate information on the Partnership’s activities and 
governance reform. 
   
  RECOMMENDED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  
   
  Pertinent Experience  
  -          Min. 5 years experience in library/communication admin. with 
knowledge management hands-on. 
  -          Good knowledge of CDS ISIS and html or other library software 
programs would be an advantage.
   
  Qualifications
  -          Bachelor, preferably from library science.
  -          Highly developed knowledge on good governance both in public and 
private sectors.
  -          Excellent organizational, and communications skill, independent 
and team-player attitude.                                
  -          Good verbal and written English skills – as well as Bahasa 
Indonesia.
  -          Good skill on the use of IS/IT. 
  -          Ability to work on own initiative, mature, creative and 
pro-active.
