The actual problem is that when a file is opened by the web server process it gets locked. Therefore other programs will not have access to the file. Anyway, what you should do is edit the databases in a separate directory and then copy them to the directory where Igloo will find them. So, you need two copies of the databases and a programed task that will run every night or so that will automatically copy the updated files to Igloo.
