Team Racers,
Local Newport V15 sailors will host a summer team racing series, and if
you're in the area, you're invited. Last year, this series was a great success
and we hope to continue it again this summer. It's a fun, informal, but
competitive experience that draws a range of team race experience.
We sail out of SailNewport on Tuesdays at 5:30 and stay out until dark.
Sailing starts in May and continues through September. Boat storage is
available @ SN for a fee. The series is free. Colored team race sails are
provided. Sailing is often followed by a BBQ at a nearby house. There will
likely be other team race happenings on the weekends, such as practicing for
upcoming regattas, etc...
If you're interested please email or call for more information. Enjoy the
spring and see you this summer.
Thanks,
Joel Hanneman
