Sailors this weekend experienced the unpredictable conditions that the
Gorge presents this time of year. Saturday, sailors waited until 3pm
until there was enough wind to get started. Four A division races and
two B division races were completed in 8 – 15 mph of wind. Two
protests were filed. Sunday, sailors waited until 1:30 for breeze.
Three B division races and one A division race was completed in 4-8
mph of breeze. One protest was filed. Big thanks to the race committee
headed by Kerry Poe for adapting to the variable conditions and
current.
