FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: Sailors were greeted by a passing cold front which provided
great sailing conditions. Winds were WNW to NW at 15-20 all day. Sailing
tight among several schools, but as the day wore on the battle was between
Charleston and USF. 10 races in each division were held on Gold Cup course
1 breakdown was awarded and 1 protest was disallowed. Racing concluded
5 pm.
Thanks to Matt Gove and the other Eckerd sailors for running races,
running mark boats and to EC-SAR for shuttling sailors to the course area.
Congrats to Charleston, USF and Eckerd for qualifying for ACC's.
