REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: ICSA Sloop Nationals
FRIDAY:
Races started in an 8-10 knot westerly breeze with a flood tide. The breeze
lightened to 5-8 knots by the end of the first race. The first race was a
winward leward with five legs. Temperature was 65 degrees with sunny skies.
The fourth race was abandond due to a lack of wind and a one tack beat. Three
races with five legs were completed. One %20 penalty was taken by Coast Guard.
No protests and no breakdowns.
*20% penalty
