With northwesterly breeze between 7 and 15 knots, today provided superb
conditions for the 9 teams competing in the Navy Spring Keelboat Promotional
Regatta.

PRO LT Joe McGettigan completed 4 windward/leeward, twice around races
averaging 45 minutes each to round out the regatta..

Coast Guard continued their dominating form, winning all four races to win
the regatta. Navy also displayed consistently good form carding four 2nd
place finishes and moving into second position overall for the regatta.
Duke moved up to third.

A huge thanks to all the Midshipmen who assisted in running the event as
well as our tireless R/C volunteers Dick Morin and Frieda Wildey. Thanks
also to Joan Morin and her NASS volunteers for hosting a cookout for all
competitors yesterday following racing.

Lastly, thanks to all the competing teams for sailing with us at Navy!
