The Connecticut College sailing team is humbled by the display of
Sportsmanship by the Brown University Sailing Team. We can't put into
words how much we respect and admire them for stepping aside and letting
us keep the spot we qualified for. We wish the Brown Bears all the best
for the rest of the college sailing season and beyond. As yesterday
unfolded (UNCLUED), John Mollicone showed integrity and caring for a
problem that only he and the Bears could solve. It was without
hesitation that John and the Brown Bears came to the Camels rescue. In a
word, THANKS!

That is one of the most gracious displays of leadership that I have seen
in college sailing. It's refreshing to hear of a team that has gone
past the goal of success and showed great respect, selflessness and
humility for our sport and fellow competitors. Congrats to Brown's
coaches and sailors for that. -Jesse
