FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
SAISA Women's Championships were hosted by University of South Florida on
May 25. Five teams competed, completing one full round-robin in easterly
winds from 8 to 12 knots. Courses were modified windward-leewards, with an
offset and leeward gate.
Special thanks to Florida and Clemson for participating, and to coaches
Robby Brown (ECK) and Ward Cromwell (CofC) for their help. Advancing to the
Semi-Finals are 3rd place USF and 2nd place Eckerd, with winner College of
Charleston receiving the automatic berth to the Finals.
USF sailors Mitch Hall, Tim King, Hillary Noble, Sean Ross, Adam Deprimo
assisted. No protests, no breakdowns, but Florida A division crew became
ill and could not continue racing after the first set.
Congratulations to winners College of Charleston.
