Hi Everyone,
A few quick logistical points for the regatta this weekend. With 18
teams, we will be challenged for parking. The spots at the club will
be first come first served. If there are no spots, you must park on
Court St. After dropping off competitors, turn around and head back
out clark ave, take a right at the stop sign at the top of the hill
onto shore dr. (142) and then take your first left at the stop sign
onto court st. Be careful not to obstruct driveways.
There is absolutely no parking on clark ave ( the road the beach is
on) or on rockland park, the road that goes on through the ycyc
parking lot. These are fire lanes and you will be towed if you park
there.
It is supposed to be quite windy this weekend and with the potential
for rain it will be cold. Competitors need to be sure to bring
appropriate clothing. Coaches who plan to go on the water need to
dress as though you are planning to sail and coaches must bring
lifejackets fit for sailing (not the orange ones we can provide you).
