To the teams scheduled to attend the USF Women's Intersectional Feb 20-21:

Charleston
Clemson
Coast Guard
Eckerd
Hawaii
U of Florida
U of Miami
U of South Florida

With only 8 teams participating, it has been suggested by Coast Guard
that it would be more beneficial to race as a combined fleet, giving
us 16 boats on the starting line instead of only 8. This more closely
replicates the racing we will be seeing during the Spring season, with
generally 15-18 teams competing.

We did this several years ago, and everyone felt it was quite successful.
Scores are reported individually, for example:

1. USF-A,
2. Charleston-B,
3. Hawaii-A,
4. Charleston-A,
5. Eckerd-A
6. Coast Guard-B
etc.

I have asked for permission to modify the ICSA procedural rules to
allow us to deviate from the 2-division format.
If there are any strong objections, please let me know immediately,
otherwise plan to sail combined if we obtain the necessary approval.

Thank you,
Allison
