Z Blok to donate $1 To UNH Sailing Team For
Every On-line Sale In The Month Of March
March 5, 2010 - - Newport, RI - - Z Blok sunblock will donate $1 to the UNH
Sailing Team for each tube of Z Blok sold on-line in the month of March.
This donation includes all sales retroactively since March 1.
The University of New Hampshire Sailing Center burned to the ground on
Wednesday March 3rd. Fifty-five boats were destroyed along with a
significant amount of equipment. The loss totals approximately $500,000.
The UNH Sailing Center served local high school teams as well as the local
community with sailing instruction programs in addition to being the home of
the UNH Sailing Team.
According to Paul Fleming, Managing Director of Z Blok LLC, "This loss is
extremely sad for the UNH Sailing Team and for the local community that the
UNH Sailing Center served. We are very happy to donate a portion of Z Blok
sales to the UNH Sailing Team. We know that we are just one example of many
in the sailing community that will step forward to assist in the all
important rebuilding effort."
