Saturday:
10 A races and 8 B races were sailed in NE to N winds at 5 to 12 kts. All
races were W4's with leeward gates. Thanks to all the HWS sailors who battled
shifty Northerly winds to run 18 very square races ranging from 18 to 22
minutes long. Three protests were filed, two were heard, resulting in a DSQ
and one was disallowed. One breakdown was awarded for a broken jib halyard
shackle. Thanks to Russ O-Reilly, Brendon Healy, Theo Ingram and Dan Thompson
for hearing protests and breakdowns.
