2011 PCCSC Team Race Championship Hosted By Stanford University
Saturday: The day started with cloudy skies and a dying North Easterly. Quickly the sum came out and racing began at noon in a northerly. As the day went on the breeze clocked left settling in in the NW breeze. The breeze built to 15-18 at times but was mainly 12 kts. for some great racing. 31 races were completed and there was 1 Black flag protest which changed the outcome of one race.

Sunday: We were all greeted by a nice NE breeze which built throughout the morning which got us to Start on time. Round Robin 2 was almost completed, 1 race left, when the E Breeze started fighting the NW breeze it was a little delay but racing was completed in Round 2 and the final four was started. The final four was tight determinig the last qualifying spot as Stanford had clinched at least 2nd going into the final round. In the end Stanford Swept the Final Four and Irvine came through when it counted to solidify second and the second berth at Nationals. Nice sailing by all teams and congrats to Stanford and Irvine for qualifying for the 2011 APS ICSA Team Race Nationals.
