Saturday: Teams arrived to glassy conditions and warm temps which lasted for most of the day, there were a few teasers but racing did not start until 4:30. 21 races were sailed between 4:30 and dark. The regatta then wandered over to Sequoia YC for a great dinner, thanks Sequoia! A big thank you to all the Stanford Undergrads who helped run racing and to Coach Hayes for his patience with PRO work. A huge thanks to our totally awesome umpire crew lead by Bryan McDonald, dude 1 himself! It was a great day at the beach, certainly the teams from the midwest enjoyed that big yellow thing in the sky, maybe too much. We are hoping for wind for sunday but as the forecasts are calling for even warmer temps it might be tough.
