The 2012 Southern NE Team race was at Connecticut College. Former Sailor
and Alum Ted Romanow help the team last summer by makingit possible for us
to purchase a new 20 * 30 Working shed. With some major landscaping the
veiwing area of the race course has been expanded and you can see the
course from Dawley Field or any part of ther waterfront.

The Camels would like to thank the following for loaning us motorboats for
the umpires: USCGA, Conn Rowing, URI Sailing, and Yale. These boats allowed
us to have umpires for every race. We would also like to Kerry Sullivan and
Rob Overton for helping to organize the umpires, as well as the following
that volunteered to be umpires;Rob
Overton,TedGreene,JohnMooney,JohnMoulthro,DanHurwit,KatyNastro,MattKnowles
Ryan McHorney,Jane Macky, Kendra.

Saturday:
The Sailors wih met with cold rainy conditions. An almost steady breeze
from the East filled in. It increased to 5-8knts and the RC was able to
complete a round of 12 Teams, 66 races. Many Red flags helped sailors to
solve their issues on the water. A few Yellow flags were decided in the
warm dry Camel Shed.

Sunday:
The breeze was light. The Umpires took the oppurtunity to discuss issues
that they addressed on the race course on Saturday. Many rules questions
were covered and answered. A Southerly Breeze filled in, a Top 6 and Bottom
6 round was completed before 2:30PM.

Final Standings:
1. Yale 13-3
2. Hobart 11-5 tie broken by Head to Head
3. Charleston
