Saturday, September 22nd Racing postponed until noon. Light NW wind died at 10:45, light SW for first set. Wind shifted left all day and ended at SE. 6A and 4B completed. Immediately after the start of 5A, the crews from Yale and Tufts fell out of their boats simultaneously.
Sunday, September 23rd New day with NW 8-16 kts and very shifty. Five races were sailed on the old fashion Gold Cup course, but planing occurred only in the puffs. Final five races on windward/Leeward, stretched to six legs. A few protests and one breakdown. Yale won several races to take a 12 point lead, but the Mystic Lake wind shifts doomed their chances in the last race.
