Recently, Google issued a cease and desist letter to the developer warning him against further distribution of his \"ROMs\" since they contain closed-source applications. We feel that Cyanogen\'s, as well as others\' custom versions of Android have not only enhanced our user experience but have also made the platform itself more attractive in general. We sign this to show out support for Cyanogen and hope that Google, considered by many to be different that other technology giants, can settle this dispute so that users of his custom ROMs can continue to enjoy Android and Cyanogen and other developers can continue to take the Android to new heights, which we believe was Google\'s intention from the outset.
