Another news that gathered our attention is Samsung’s announcement of updating this Android device to Android 2.2 Froyo! We have also identified during the pursuit of this story, that Galaxy S I9000 will be pre-geared with Android 2.1 (Eclair) but will get an automatic update to Froyo soon after. Now it is clear that Samsung can be the first to introduce an auto-update for their Android handsets after Google. As these words come from Samsung’s senior project manager for mobile phone, Luke Lee, so it means that this time Samsung “will” get an update for sure.
