GMS kepanjangan dari Google Mobile Application. Yup betul sekali dimana handset sudah memiliki GMS belum mengartikan handset tsb sudah diroot. Saat ini pabrikan mengeluarkan handset dalam keadaan belum diroot, dimana maksudnya baik agar tidak membahayakan handset itu sendiri dari kemungkinan kecerobohan dari penggunanya (positive thinking nya sih seperti itu....hehehehehe).
