============== We have another android first to report. The newly released Droid2 has beenrooted <http://androidreviewer.com/relentless-rooters-aka-developers-over-at-xda-have-done-it-again-droid2-rooted-not-for-the-faint-of-code/>as you all know already. What better way to enjoy your newly obtained root access, than to have a custom Rom. The Rom was created by Matt 4542 who if you are a rooter or familiar with Rom Manger application then you know exactly who he is. He is the creator of the Epic Roms currently available in Koush’s Rom Manager app. The Rom is called Epic Unleashed v1.1<http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6416852/Epic-Unleashed11Deodexed%20%281%29.zip>it is a very basic but awesome Rom. It is a completely deodexed stock Rom with all of the Bloatware already removed. Alot of newbie rooters don’t want to attempt to remove apps on their own so this was a very welcomed addition to this Rom. There are some requirements fro this Rom. First you have to be rooted then you have to have Koush’s BootStrap app<http://koush.tandtgaming.com//motorola/droid2/Droid2Bootstrap.apk>installed and flashed.  This is another example(DroidX<http://androidreviewer.com/birdmanrom-stunna-is-back-at-it-again-come-get-the-first-droid-x-romflyxv0-1/>) of companies trying to scare consumers into submission with the whole efuse rumor, no root access ever statements and blown up phones nonsense. The Android Community is the greatest in the world period. We are strong and we are many and the tyrants known as carriers and manufactures will never stop the our relentless pursuits of ”True Access”. Then you can boot into recovery via the same app or you can install via ROM Manager(by rebooting into recovery, not via install rom from sdcard). Once you boot into recovery do a FULL nandroid backup and then you can go to Install zip from sdcard and toggle signature verification to disable. Now you can install the zip from the sdcard.
