This Recovery hack works by looking for certain files on the SD card to boot from instead of looking in the Internal memory. This method is only in development for the Eris, but could possibly be developed for other devices in the future. It has been tested on the following Eris Roms: - KaosFroyo - KaosLegendary - CELBFroyo - MR4 - PlaneJane The recovery modification is not for the average android user and as posted in the thread is still in early beta, if you feel confident then feel free to try it out. You will need these to have these requirements met to use this method: 1. Amon-RA-v1.6.2 2. System.img on an Ext3 (recommended) Partition (170MB) 3. Data.im on an Ext3 (recommended) Partition, any size 4. The files located at the bottom of the post 5. A modified init.rc Good luck!
