Wauw belum expired yah, padahal dari info yg diberikan akan expired setelah
digunakan selama 10 menit. Untuk metoda menghitung 10 menit itu darimana
daku sendiri kurang tahu. Tidak ada bedanya sih dg yg retak, beda masa
expired saja.
Untuk coba goldcard di WM device sendiri daku pernah coba ketika jamannya
htc touch. Tapi asli sudah lupa, mungkin karena kebanyakan makanan dengan
penyedap rasa nih.....hahahahahahaha.

Siap, Om. Oya, untuk dapetin image goldcard, di menu QMat juga
sebetulnya ada: "Generate HTC Goldcard". Tapi berhubung saya tidak
bisa pake (WM device saya terbatas hehe..), jadinya tidak saya tulis.

saling melengkapi. Yang saya tulis ini bersumber dari xda-dev dan satu
link yang wordpress. Yang di xda-dev ada yang membingungkan, jadinya
saya garis bawahi juga :)
+ Siapkan microSD (tidak semua compatible, satu merk lain kapasitas
bisa lain hasilnya). Sebaiknya gunakan WinXP, saya coba berkali-kali
gagal karena menggunakan WIN7, begitu pakai WINXP, sekali langsung
berhasil.
+ Siapkan QMat terbaru versi 5.06

+ Download terminal emulator dari Market, masuk ke aplikasi,
seharusnya muncul tanda $ (belum jadi superuser (tanda #) karena belum
di-root).
+ Pastikan SDCard terdeteksi dari Android Anda (bukan sedang dalam
mode drive di PC).
+ Di terminal emulator, ketik: cat /sys/class/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:*/cid
dan tekan enter (akan muncul cidnya). Untuk menyimpan jadi file txt,
gunakan perintah: cat /sys/class/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:*/cid >
/sdcard/namafile.txt dan tekan enter, maka cid akan bisa dilihat di
file namafile.txt yang ada di sdcard. CID berupa kombinasi angka dan
huruf kecil sebanyak 32 karakter.
+ Buka QMat, pilih Crypto Analys - Crypto Toolbox. Kopi 32 karakter
CID ke kolom sebelah kirim "Reverse String" (tidak perlu mengeset
parameter yang ada), klik tombol "Reverse String", maka akan keluar
hasilnya.
Contoh: CID = 02544d5341303247039c820781009322 , hasil reverse string:
23209107820c8397024031334d54425.
Note: jangan gunakan pedoman reverse string "manual", contoh dari
1b534d303030303010b1a362de008310 menjadi
108300de62a3b11030303030304d531b. Gunakan hasil dari QMat.
+ Copy paste hasil reversed string dari QMat ke
http://revskills.de/pages/goldcard.html (jangan lupa masukan email
yang valid dan saat itu sedang aktif dibuka agar email yang berisi
goldcard.img dapat langsung digunakan). Langkah ini akan sering
diulang2 jika belum mendapatkan SDCard yang cocok. Sangat beruntung
jika langsung mencoba langsung berhasil.
+ Mount SDCard agar terbaca di komputer.
+ Buka HxDHex Editor. Pilih menu "Extras", pilih "Open disk..", di
bawah bagian "Physical Disk", pilih "Removable DiskX" (X disini bisa
berari penomoran tergantung banyaknya removable Disk Anda yang sedang
terkoneksi. Agar lebih yakin, pastikan hanya Android yang sedang konek
ke PC Anda).
+ Pilih menu "Extras" kembali, kali ini pilih "Open disk image...",
arahkan ke file goldcard.img yang kita dapat dari
http://revskills.de/pages/goldcard.html. Pilih 512 (Hard disks/Floppy
disks).
+ Di tab "goldcard.img" Copy semua (CTRL + A kemudian CTRL + C, atau
klik edit klik select All klik edit lagi klik copy)
+ Di tab "removable disk", blok semua angka dari offset 00000000
sampai 00000170, klik edit, klik Paste Write (CTRL + B).
+ Save, tutup HXD.
+ Coba akses kembali SDCard Anda di PC. Kalau perlu, remove dulu
(unmount), kemudian mount kembali. Jika SDCard Anda masih bisa diakses
dengan baik, maka metode goldcard berhasil 75% (harus dipastikan
kembali apakah sudah bisa flash atau belum). Jika minta format disk,
berarti SDCard tersebut tidak bisa digunakan sebagai goldcard,
lupakan, coba cari yang lain :D

Goldcard dibutuhkan untuk mengabaikan check customer id (cid) saja sih,
karena kebutuhan penggunaan rom official dari negara/region lain yang
harusnya tidak diperbolehkan.
Kalau kasus di hero kita butuh goldcard untuk root hero yang menggunakan
rom
versi 2.73.405.5 ke atas dimana splnya 1.76.0007, sehingga kita harus
downgrade dahulu ke versi 2.73.405.5 atau di bawahnya dilanjutkan dengan
merubah hboot yang ditelah dimodifikasi oleh Paul O'brien.
