Flashing custom ROM Generally, each custom ROM thread contains directions for installation, but sometimes they might confuse complete newcomers that don't take their time to search the guides. Here's a very generic explanation of steps needed to update a stock phone to custom ROM: 1. Copy the downloaded ROM image to the SD card 2.
