imap mengenal sub folder, di pop3 ga bisa kecuali dibuat rule nya. Di imap bisa dibuat model push mail, karena dengan imap kita bisa terkoneksi terus ke server dan akan segera synchronize ketika ada email masuk, kalau tidak ada maka akan dalam mode idle. Tapi ga semua mail server support imap Yg paling bagus ya sesuai kebutuhan
