Capcom made a little announcement today, timed with today's Sharp's new 3D
Android-based
phones<http://www.androidguys.com/2010/11/04/sharps-brings-3d-screen-phones-glasses-required/>.
The software giant is bringing three "iconic" titles to Android in the form
of 3D gaming. Get ready for Mega Man, Ghosts n' Goblins, and Resident Evil
to invade your favorite mobile platform. Well, at least if you have one of
these nifty Sharp phones. Hopefully, we get these, and other games, from
Capcom in the United States. I don't know about you, but I would happy to
play through every Mega Man game start to finish. I don't even need new
stuff. Just give me official releases of the classics.

I can't help but chuckle at the end of Capcom's press
release<http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/news/html/e101104.html>where
they describe Android as a fledgling OS, only poised to take off.

The Android smartphone OS is sure to take the market by storm, and we here
at Capcom are on the ground floor of this explosive expansion, utilizing the
latest technology and creative ideas to deliver our content to a wide range
of users.

Sorry guys, but the "ground floor" was *at least* two years ago.
