Cannot agree more to your comments 'Lex. What I really meant was modification should be kept as little as possible. However powerful the nexusone is, add-ons will inevitably cause some lag. At least that happened to my official froyo when I added apps like lockbot, launcherpro, adw launcher etc.
Anyway, I did install go launcher ex, just for the sake of having DialerOne on the dock.Let's see how it goes ... The temptation to root the device is almost unbearable, but I really like to taste the official gingerbread update OTA first.
