works on SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON H HBOOT-1.76.0007(SAPP10000) CPLD-12 RADIO-6.35.07.29 like mine :D * *Here are the steps I used to root my phone: (its a collection of instructions all over this thread). 1- If you have a CostumerID compatible with the RUU (see first post) just run RUU "3.04.401.2 Official RUU Sapphire HTC Europe AT test signed" that you can download from here: http://www.4shared.com/file/207649694/b347bfad/RUU_Sapphire_HTC_Europe_304401.html 2.1 - If your CostumerID is not compatible you need to run the RUU and while it is open search for rom1.zip on the temp folder (in Vista or 7 type %temp% on the search bar of the start menu). 2.2 - Create a goldcard and copy the rom1.zip to it and rename to SAPPIMG.zip 2.3 - Boot the phone while holding volume down,wait for it to mount the sdcard (1 minute or so) and press the trackball to start updating the phone and after it completes reboot the phone. 3 - Once normal booted download the recovery for HERO (recovery-RA-hero-v1.5.2.img) from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=561124 and copy it to your sdcard 4 - Connect the phone to computer and install the recovery by typing this command on a command line (remember needs Android SDK installed): adb shell and then: flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-hero-v1.5.2.img Then you should return to the prompt as if nothing happened!. 5 - Copy the Engineering SPL: 1.76.2007 from here http://www.4shared.com/file/211145376/3da88b40/update-hboot-1762007-signed.htmlto you sdcard 6 - Turn off the phone, disconnect from computer and boot into recovery (press Home while turning the phone on) and you should be in the AmonRa Hero recovery. 7 - Install the engineering SPL with the option apply zip from sdcard. 7.1 - After installing the SPL and rebooting to AmonRa Recovery the screen could display at the bottom the message "Formatting CACHE". If you can move around the options of the recovery it is OK (sometimes the message is not updated and stays there instead of disappearing). 8 - After flashing engineering SPL, you can flash any rom you want. reply your feedback please.. -- Regards..
