Vendor gak perlu mateng² release new version yang pastinya makan biaya research and development.. gitu released masih ada bugs dll, legal pula untuk di complaint end-users mereka kalo ada lost. Community opensource dapat bahan main² untuk cook custom ROM, bisa buat nama cookernya dikenal di community, dapat donation juga sometime \(^_^)v User yang geek juga punya kerjaan flashing² test leaked based custom ROM (kek loe cu! hehe) Ujung²nya released ota yang udah lebih minim bug tanpa cost yang besar seperti kalo di closedsource Dan semua end-user si vendor bisa nikmatin updatean yang ok... Ujung²nya emang ke business dan selalu uang/keuntungan. Tapi di pola rantai seperti ini, semua pihak dapat benefits; famous name di community, kepuasan secara psikologis bisa pake leaked yang walau buggy, tetep aja masih dikit orang yang bisa pake, blablabla...
