Sepertinya memang support harus by BIOS alias dari SPL, rom pun totally off kalau device off.
Yg berfungsi hanya power charging routine, tidak seperti OS BB yg sebenarnya hanya deep sleep saat di offkan sehingga dengan mudah schedule (fake) on/off.
