Ngga perlu, ROM overcome 2 udah include root kernel 3.3. Pendeknya, ROM itu operating system, sementara kernel yg ngatur kerja prosesor (please CMIIW).
IMHO pdf guidenya udah jelas banget kok urutan langkah2nya. Cepet juga ngeflashnya, paling 15 menitan. Yg lama malah ngebackup 16gb file2 gw, karna semua isi internal memory akan di-wipe.
