MD5 tidak hanya digunakan untuk menampung informasi file saja, namun juga digunakan dalam proses imaging disk to disk yang isinya terdiri dari ribuan file namun hanya memiliki satu MD5 saja. Untuk mengecek MD5 bisa search aja di gugel banyak bertebaran tools "MD5 Checker"
