Jadi, kalau ada seseorang yg hh-nya sudah pernah diinject, otomatis ESN hh-nya tersebut telah didaftarkan dan memperoleh MIN dan akey saat proses inject nomor CDMAnya, yg dilakukan oleh sistem operator telekomunikasi dalam hal ini SMART. Nah, berhubung pemilik hh tersebut hendak ganti nomor, maka nomor yg lama harus di"buang" ato ditransfer ke device lain. Dikarenakan repot cari device yg mau menampung nomor yg lama dan untuk efisiensi kerja, maka nomor lama tersebut diinject ke device DUMMY, nah inilah yg disebut dgn di-dummy-kan. Hasilnya adalah, hh tersebut sudah kosong dan tidak memiliki nomor, maka proses inject ulang dengan nomor baru dapat dilakukan. Sehingga didapat MIN dan akey yg baru.
