Agak aneh sih kalau cuma mau benerin earphone bawaan, sampai beli perusahaan. Kalau beli saham mayoritas, berarti dia mau integrasikan perusahaan itu secara strategis.
Kalau cuma mau tingkatin kualitas earphone, bikin aja kontrak kerjasama dengan Beats. Mungkin audio processing di hand held-nya mau di upgrade dengan teknologi patented dari Beats. Tapi, kalau sampai dibeli perusahaannya, berarti HTC serius banget mau jadi "music phone". Bold move. Atau mungkin ada teknologi lain dari beats yang belum di release ke publik, yang keren banget, dan bisa jadi diferensiator di smartphone.
