But unless HTC Sense (Rosie) has inbuilt code to handle these files, there is no way these will ever be used by a Sense system. What you (and other proponents of the Bravia engine mod) have done: 1. Add a value in build.prop 2. Add two binaries to system/etc 3. Change permissions of the binaries Afaik, these binaries dont come with stock Android package or Sense. There are no references to these in Sense code. Ergo, these will remain stale as an unnecessary waste of space. Dont you think the code for Gallery apk needs to modified to reference these binaries, to change the image processing engine? I think what you guys are seeing is a placebo effect or an illusion.
