This is a experimental Build of the current state of CyanogenMod 9 for the Samsung Galaxy S II. CyanogenMod 9 is still under heavy development and will probably be finished in January/February 2012. The device specific part for the Galaxy S II is under heavy Development, too. Don't expect a ROM which is ready for daily use. It isn't! If you're no advanced user who is able to solve some problems by yourself and use ADB, then go away. There's nothing to see for you. We're not supporting this builds. If you run into a problem, you're on your own. Don't try to do bug reports, we'll ignore it. If you brick your device by flashing this build, it's your problem. You've decided to do this modifications to your phone! - RIL crashes on providers with NITZ, makes phone unusable (need new leak) - button backlights (samsung has to fix it, they’ve messed it up) - low haptic feedback (need kernel sources to fix it) - sensors aren’t working very good (need kernel sources) - video recording (need new leak) - youtube video playback (black) - some missing video codecs - and a lot more There are two versions, one for odin and one for cwm. Choose whatever you want. ODIN: - Extract it - Copy GApps and Faceunlock ZIPs to your internal SDCard - Reboot into Download Mode - Flash Bootloader, Code and Modem using Odin - After flashing pull battery and reinsert it - Boot into Recovery - Flash GApps and Faceunlock ZIPs - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work) - Reboot - Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup! CWM - Make sure you're already running ICS bootloaders - Make sure you're running a proper working CWM like the one from CM7 - Copy GApps, Faceunlock and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard - Boot into Recovery - Flash CM9 zip - Flash GApps and Faceunlock ZIPs - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work) - Reboot - Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
