Yes it can support the USB Host Function – you will need to purchase an USB OTG Adapter though. 2. Yes it can read from a 2.5” HDD, however the output voltage from the USB Port may not be sufficient to power an External Drive without also using an external power adapter for the External HDD 3. Yes you can use both the USB Port and HDMI Out simultaneously 4. The HDMI Out display resolution is 1920 x 1080 (Full HD 1080p) Hope this helps.
