It not only allows users with limited internal storage to keep their apps installed, but is still even used today to allow users to keep their internal storage free and clear for things like music.
Unfortunately, however, the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830<http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1164> does not natively support Apps2SD. XDA Senior Member SuperAce609<http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4310762>has devised what has been termed a bulletproof method of getting APPS2SD to work. The method is pretty simple, and only requires a few steps. Most of the installation procedure involves commands from the Ace’s settings menu. Essentially, you are simply partitioning an SD card and installing an application–no big deal. While APPS2SD certainly does take the load off the internal storage, the developer would like to note: NOTE: Some widgets or applications that have widgets, don’t work while installed in the SD card. Those must be moved to the internal storage. The same thing applies to any themes you’re using, launcher, camera apps, or anything else you believe should be installed internally. NOTE 2: Please also keep in mind that when you reboot your phone (or turn it on) anything installed in the SD won’t work until the phone is done scanning the SD card and confirms the item is installed. As with other implementations of Apps2SD, make sure you move your widget apps back to the internal storage, and be patient when the phone reboots. Otherwise, everything is just peachy.
