Freeing up internal storage is one of the things that most people with older Android phones commonly have to deal with. Some app-crazy individuals with newer phones have had to as well. However, there can be some issues with that. Typically, people use APPS2SD to help them out, but you can’t move things like your launcher or anything with a widget. It is also quite time consuming for those with a lot of apps. XDA Senior Member d33ps1x<http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4286525>has written a full blown tutorial on preparing an SD card for use for the Wildfire S, starting with properly formatting and partitioning your SD card to even a few tips and tricks at the end for better performance. The cool thing about the method is that the section on partition your SD card can be extrapolated for any Android device. All you need is a card reader and you also need to know what file systems (ext2, ext3, ext4, etc) your devices uses and you can set your SD card up for Link2SD use using this tutorial. The method itself involves using a partition manager to partition an unused portion of your SD card that can then be used by the Link2SD application to move free up some internal storage for those running a little lower than they are comfortable with. It is a little complicated, so be sure you follow the directions and also be sure to make a backup of your SD card, just in case something goes wrong.
