sepertinya tadinya Google mau mengikuti pola pengembangan-nya Linux .. ketika suatu versi sepertinya sudah usable, dilepas aja ke dunia luar, biar semua developer bisa liat dan memperbaiki masalah-masalah yang ada .. ini yang membuat perkembangan Linux sangat cepat di dunia desktop ..
yang jadi problem, untuk Android ada pihak lain, yaitu si pembuat handset dan operator .. saat ini mereka yang lebih banyak berperan dalam pengembangan Android, apalagi kalo ngikutin modelnya Motorola dan AT&T yang benar-benar ingin mengontrol penggunaan handset dan network-nya.. jadi developer lepasan gak bisa bebas mengembangkan Android .. btw: kayanya ide awal Google bikin seri Nexus adalah untuk developer .. jadi memang pantas kalo banyak problem .. tapi ntah kenapa sekarang jadinya dilepas ke semua orang ..
